Fix it: Unable to View All Buttons on a Form

Overview

In this tutorial, we will review what to check when you cannot view some buttons on a form, things look cut off, or icons that were previously present are missing.

Most of the time, this is a screen resolution issue. Please review our hardware requirements page for screen resolution, scale requirements, and recommendations.

This is often a simple fix: adjust your device's display settings to meet Wise Option requirements.

That being said, some devices are limited in their screen resolution and may not be able to meet Wise Option's requirements. In this case, some users continue to use the device, as they can still perform the functions in Wise Option they need. However, you may need to consider changing devices if you cannot.

Below, we provide instructions on how to check your device's screen resolution and scale.

Step-by-Step Guidance

  1. For the instructions below, check the local device display settings, NOT in the RDP display settings (where the Desktop app is).

  2. Windows/Microsoft Device

    1. Open Settings > System > Display

    2. Scroll down to Resolution

    3. Ensure BOTH the screen resolution and scale are set to the required values

    4. If this does not resolve your original issue of being unable to view the entire form, please get in touch with Wise Option Support.

  3. Apple Device

    1. Open System Settings > Display

    2. Ensure BOTH the screen resolution and scale are set to the required values

    3. Some Mac computers do not display the exact resolution and scale depending on your device. If you have the option, try selecting the option for more compact or smaller text.

    4. If this does not resolve your original issue of being unable to view the entire form, please get in touch with Wise Option Support.
