QuickBooks Online
Overview
This integration allows Wise Option users with a QuickBooks Online account to integrate that with Wise Option. Once set up, closed invoices and credits will automatically sync to QuickBooks Online
Important Notes & Requirements
Wise Option can integrate with QuickBooks Online, NOT QuickBooks Desktop. QuickBooks Desktop is not based in the cloud, which is why the integration with this version is incompatible.
Categories must be enabled in your QuickBooks Online account. QuickBooks may require a certain subscription to enable Categories
This is a uni-directional integration. Information is passed from Wise Option to QuickBooks Online, not QuickBooks Online to Wise Option. If a change needs to be made, users must make in Wise Option and let Wise Option update QuickBooks Online.
Closed invoices and credits posted to customer accounts are sent over to customer accounts in QuickBooks. Charges on customer accounts (i.e. service fees, CC convienience fees, and other manual charges) are sent over as journal entries.
This integration can take between 8-12 weeks to set up depending on your QuickBooks Online settings and how quickly tasks in Wise Option can be assigned Income / Expense Accounts
Many Wise Option users utilize QuickBooks Online and Wise Option. It is not required to use this integration to be able to use both together. Some users prefer not to link the two and pull month-end reports to make journal entries into QuickBooks Online.
