Step-by-Step Guidance
Open to customer file > Account.
If there is a balance, please add a charge.
If there is a credit, please add a credit.
We recommend changing the date to the day before the first day of the billing period that you will bill.
Example: If you were planning on January 2022 being your first billing period, you would date this entry 12/31/2021.
Add the appropriate entry (charge or credit).
Select the category “Account Adjustment”.
Enter the appropriate date and amount.
We recommend also adding a comment that says: Balance transfer from (insert old system name here).
