Pregnancy Dashboard

Overview

In this tutorial we will review how the Preganancy Dashboard functions and what scenarios it should be used for.

This feature was designed to help users manage the number of pregancies per client per season. This can be particularly helpful if the facility requires deposits to be paid in advance for each pregnancy.

Although it is not a requirement to use the Pregnancy Dashboard, if deposits are a part of the business process, users may find the use of Escrow Accounts advantageous.

The dashboard complies information for breeding records, embryo transfer records, pregnancy log entries, and foal out records.

The user can enter a number of pregnancies desired for the season for a certain client. For each entry, Wise Option will display:

1. Customer Account Balance

2. Escrow Account Balance

3. Number of Pregnancies: Number of pregnancies entered when creating the plan for the season

4. Breed In Foal: Number of mares that were bred and marked in foal or marked to "Consider as In Foal" in the Pregnancy Log. The customer must be marked as the Breeder in the breeding record to display under the customer's Breeding Plan in the Pregnancy Dashboard.

5. Breed Pending: Number of mares that were bred, but not checked yet. The customer must be marked as the Breeder in the breeding record to display under the customer's Breeding Plan in the Pregnancy Dashboard.

6. Flush Log: Number of mares scheduled for an Embryo Flush, but Flush Record has not been resulted yet. The customer must be marked as the Embryo Owner in the Flush Record record to display under the customer's Breeding Plan in the Pregnancy Dashboard.

7. ET In Foal: Number of recipients that had an embryo transferred and marked in foal or marked to "Consider as In Foal" in the Pregnancy Log. The customer must be marked as the Embryo Owner in the Embryo Transfer record to display under the customer's Breeding Plan in the Pregnancy Dashboard.

8. ET Pending: Number of recipients that had an embryo transferred but not checked yet. The customer must be marked as the Embryo Owner in the Embryo Transfer record to display under the customer's Breeding Plan in the Pregnancy Dashboard.

9. Pregnancies Pending: Number of Pregnancies minus the total number of values in the Columns: Breed In Foal, Breed Pending, Flush Log, ET In Foal, ET Pending, and Live Foal.

10. Live Foal: Number of mares that have been marked as foaled out (Stillborn not selected) or marked "Consider as Live Foal on the foal out record.
