Printing Address Labels

Overview

In the tutorial below, we will review how to generate a list of customer addresses from Wise Option which can then be used in a label template to print. We recommend using Microsoft Word to generate the label template.

The tutorial below will guide you through generating the list of addresses from Wise Option to using Microsoft Word's Mailing feature to import the list and merge it into your selected label template.

Step-by-Step Guidance

Generating the list from Wise Option

  1. Navigate to Reports > Customer > Address Labels

  2. Select or Create a query to load a list of customers that you would like to print address labels for

  3. Select the customers you would like to print labels for

  4. Select the address type you would like the list to generate with

  5. Click Print

  6. Click Yes when asked to preview

  7. Export the report as a .csv file

  8. Open the file in Excel and add column headers to each column

Printing the list using Microsoft Word Mailings

  1. Open a blank Word document

  2. Navigate to Mailings

  3. Click Start Mail Merge > Label

  4. Select the brand and then product > Save

  5. Click Select Recipients > Use Existing List

  6. Select the .csv file you saved from Wise Option

  7. Save

  8. Place your cursor in the first line of the first label

  9. Click Insert Merge Field and click the corresponding field to build the label template

  10. Once you are happy with the first, click Update labels and Word will update the others

  11. Click Preview Results to ensure you are happy with the labels

  12. Click Finsh & Merge > Print
