This tutorial is an overview of the definition of Procedures & Reminders.
Procedures are tasks entered on a patient file, contract, or directly on an invoice.
Procedures entered on a patient file or contract can then be compiled on an invoice which is then posted to the customer account and will show a balance there.
Reminders are βundoneβ procedures.
Reminders are not billable until they are set as βdoneβ and then become a procedure.
Reminders will show with a price of zero until they are set as done. This is due to things like task exceptions and other rules that users may set up and may affect the price of an item.
There are different tools to add procedures and reminders which will be reviewed in this section.
