Massive Prescribed by/Performed by Update
Overview
This tutorial will review how to massively update the Prescribed By / Performed By fields of procedures already entered. There are two ways of doing this. Each method has its points to consider, so please review carefully before proceeding.
If you use Commission Rules, we do NOT recommend using this as this update does NOT automatically recalculate commission for these procedures.
Method 1: This method allows users to massively update the Prescribed by or Performed by of unbilled miscellaneous procedures.
Method 2: This allows usered to massively update Prescribed by or Performed by of any procedure (billed or unbilled, on any invoice type). Please note Method 2 requires the IMPACT Package.

Method 1
If you use Commission Rules, we do NOT recommend using this as this update does NOT automatically recalculate commission for these procedures.
Navigate to the Procedure Manager - Misc. > Query for the procedures you would like to update
Select the procedures you would like to update by checking the boxes to the left of the procedures
Click "Actions" > Update Prescribed by or Update Performed by
Select the new professional > Submit

If you use Commission Rules, we do NOT recommend using this as this update does NOT automatically recalculate commission for these procedures.
Navigate to Reports > Production Report
Query for the range that incorperates the procedures that need updating
Be very careful with the query to ensure you are pulling the correct procedures.
Select the appropriate procedures you would like to update by checking the boxes to the left of the procedures
You can also use the check boxes at the higher levels to massively select. Example: You need to update all the procedures listed under Dr. Edwards for today to Dr. Sydney.
Select either Update Prescribed by or Update Performed by
