How to Order Tests
Overview
In this tutorial, we will review how to order tests via the Zoetis Lab Integration.
There are a few ways to submit a test to the lab. The option chosen should match the workflow ideal for your business.
Option 1:
Ideal for users that want to submit the tests directly to the inhouse machines or reference lab. This is the fastest option.
Option 2:
Ideal for users with a Lab Manager, who receives samples and processes them in an order determined by them.
Option 3:
Ideal for users with a Lab Manager, who receives samples and processes them in an order determined by them. Additionally, this option is best for users that do not want staff members adding charges.
Once the test is submitted to the lab, Wise Option will add the linked charge as a procedure.
Where you order the test from does matter. This is where the procedure will be added.
If you order the test from an open Outpatient, Ambulatory, or Show invoice, the procedure will be entered on the invoice.
If you order from the Patient File or Summary Card, the procedure will be added to that patient's unbilled miscellaneous procedures.
If you order from the Hospital Record, the procedure will be added to that hospital invoice.
