The task finder is just one of the data entry tools that can be used to add procedures or reminders on multiple forms in Wise Option. Things to consider when using the task finder:

  • Great to start with

  • Functions like a search bar

  • Can slow down entry if used as the primary tool

  • NOT recommended as a primary procedure/reminder entry tool

Step-by-Step Guidance

  1. Open the patient file on the system.

  2. Navigate to the "Procedures" button and click on it.

  3. The screen will split into two sections: procedures performed in the past and reminders for future actions.

  4. Input the procedure date and review Defaults if needed

  5. Ensure to select the "Prescribed by" and "Performed by" from the list of active employees.

  6. Use the task finder to search for the task you would like to add as a procedure or reminder.

  7. Double-click on the desired task from the task finder list.

  8. Fill in any additional details such as comments or price adjustments.

  9. Submit.

  10. Verify that the procedure or reminder appears correctly in the respective sections.

  11. Repeat the process for adding additional charges or reminders if needed.

  12. Once finished, close the patient file or proceed with further actions as required.
