Total Summary Report
Overview
This tutorial will review the Total Sumary Report, what it shows and how to use it.
The business needs the IMPACT Package and Credit Allocations activated to use this report. The Total Summary Report shows the total production (billed procedures) for a specific period and of that production for that period, what has been collected.
Settings:
Branch: Select the Practice you would like to consider for this report.
Date: Select the date range of production
Report Type:
Production / Invoice Date: This considers production for the period based on invoice date.
Production / Charge Date: This considers production for the period based on procedure date. For example, if the Date Range for the report is 1/1/2024 -1/31/2024 and there is an invoice dated 2/15/2024, but a procedure on that invoice is dated 1/18/2024, that procedure will be included in that report.
Profit Center/Category Based On: The production breakdown can include by Profit Center and Category. The user must select what Profit Center and Category this should be based on.
Task File Properties: The Profit Center and Category selected in the Task File at the time of running the report
Invoice Properties: The Profit Center and Category selected on the Invoice Properties.
Charge/Procedure Properties: The Profit Center and Category selected when the procedure was entered.
Group By: This is the heirarchy of the production breakdown. The user must select a value in each of the 4 fields. The production will be split based on the first criteria. Then within the first criteria, it will be broken down by the second. Then within the seconf criteria, it will be broken down by the third. Then within the third criteria, it will be broken down by the fourth.
Based on Task Link Parent: By selecting this option, the report will goup the Profit Center and Category production for items that are present in packages, based on the parent task's Profit Center and Category.
