This tutorial will review the Patient File procedure/reminder entry form, how to use it and who may benefit most from using. This form allows you to enter procedures or reminders into the patient file.
It is helpful in specific scenarios, but we do not recommend using this form as your primary entry form.

Accessing the Patient File:
Begin by searching for the desired patient and opening their patient file.
Navigating to Procedures:
Within the patient file, locate and click on the "Procedures" tab on the right side of the patient file.
Selecting Procedure Form:
Choose the "Split Screen Procedures/Reminders" form for reviewing and adding procedures.
Reviewing Existing Procedures and Reminders:
Take a moment to review any existing procedures and reminders listed for the patient.
Selecting Entry Method:
Select Procedure or Reminder from the radio button options at the top right
Choose your preferred method for entering the procedure:
Utilize macros, digital circle sheets, or the task finder for efficient data entry.
Reviewing:
Once added, the procedure will appear in the list on the left side of the form. If entering a reminder, it will be on the right.
Billing Procedures (Optional):
If applicable, use the quick billing shortcut provided to bill for the added procedure directly from the form.
Consider Alternative Forms for Bulk Entries:
Note that while the "Split Screen Procedures/Reminders" form is suitable for occasional use, there are more efficient forms available for adding multiple procedures for multiple patients simultaneously.
