Triggers Overview
Overview
This tutorial will review the purpose of Triggers and points to consider when using them.
A Trigger is a tool that is used to add multiple procedures and or reminders relative to a target date to a particular partient at once. A good way to think about Triggers is a protocol.
Each Trigger is composed of events (procedures and or reminders), each event with a set period from the target date.
Once set up, Triggers are manually applied to patients by users.
As with many tools in Wise Option, there are several forms you can create and generate Triggers from.
Examples:
When a horse arrives, you want to have several intake procedures and schedule reminders for a few weeks after its arrival.
When a mare is marked in foal, you need to schedule the pre-foal vaccine reminders.
