Entering Recipient Mare Pregnancy (Quick Data Entry)

Overview

This tutorial will review how to use the Quick Data Entry option on the Embryo Transfer Log to quickly make a recipient mare in foal. Ideally, records are entered in Wise Option as they happen (see Breeding Management Tab), but we understand there are situations where a quick data entry option is necessary to catch up.

• Examples of these situations:

  • You are just starting with Wise Option and need to enter data from last year.

  • A recip came to you that you did not transfer and she is in foal.

  • Example: Embryo was transferred last year and the recip is due to foal in a month.

1. Donor mare, stallion, recip, and all the customer fields must be customer/patient files in Wise Option

2. Mare Management > Embryo Transfer Log > Quick Data Entry

3. Enter all information in the form

4. Save
